It is still AC/DC, so you're protected during power outage or anytime. It still includes the industry's highest performing pump and proven quality, American made electronics. And it still has notification, but it's by using your existing home security system OR through an optional phone auto-dialer called the DataDispatch. With iControl, you can remotely access and manage your system anytime, from anywhere, and receive email and text alerts if a concern is detected.
The DataPump X2 is a dual pump, dual controller system for double capacity, double run time, and TRUE triple redundancy. Don't get fooled by systems that have 2 pumps, but only 1 controller! That is NOT redundant.
